I told Stephen Sydebotham to stay away from kids and to cease his “advocacy” work or we were going to wreck his life, but he apparently didn’t believe me. We’re learning from multiple sources that Sydebotham is playing sick mind games with James Prindle and continuing to solicit money from people.
Sydebotham is actually telling James that supporters are falling by the wayside, and that it is James’ fault, not his. He has intercepted letters from James to at least one of his foreign supporters (letters which he was to have forwarded for James) in order to create the false impression that people on the outside are losing interest, and that only one person—Sydebotham, of course—is standing by the boy.
His ploy has unraveled. James knows that Sydebotham has been unfaithful and has been trying to manipulate him with lies. Sydebotham has now lost any hope of achieving his twisted ends.
Our investigation continues and Sydebotham’s methods are becoming crystal clear. Now that we understand the “logic” of his perversions we know how to stop him.

Stephen, I know you are reading this post and I’m telling you that you have tested us for the last time. I told you to back off from kids and you’ve been heedless of my warnings. Now you’ll reap the consequences.

For the opposing viewpoint: This will be my last comment on this blog, as I will not be reading it any longer. I have ceased my advocacy work. What you have stated in this blog and your previous blog “money talks” are erroneous. I told James that his support group was growing, not shrinking as you have stated here, also the letter you say i “intercepted”
James sent to me, to mail to his friend in Brazil, WHICH I DID. Also Mr. Dailey, in your previous blog, you neglect to tell your readers, that a $1000 check was issued from me, to the law firm in Indiana, to have the attorney be accepted in Indiana, via Pro Hac Vice (which I showed you a copy of). Your only telling your readers what you want them to hear, not the full truth.
Stephen, the check issued to the Indiana law firm for their work in connection with the pro hac vice was indeed sent to them–they have confirmed its receipt.
However, since 9/01/11 we have sent you a total of $3,450 for Blade Reed’s legal work, and Blade’s New York lawyer says she has only received $500. $1,950 is thus missing in your accounting for the money we sent to you for Blade.
None of this even touches on the $3,800 we have sent you in connection with your various trips to Memphis on behalf of James. You have provided no receipts whatsoever to account for these outlays of money.
But yes, you are correct when you say that I have not yet told Diary readers everything we have learned about your activities and the fallout resulting from them. All things in due time. Our investigation is continuing and new facts are being uncovered everyday. We are connecting lots and lots of dots.
If we are to take you at your word that you will not be reading this blog, then I can only say that the world will learn what we learn before you do. But somehow I cannot believe what you say about this or anything.
I certainly take issue with Stephens comment- I am beyond disgusted with his repeatedly saying everyone else is lying about him. IF that is the case ( which I seriously doubt) then put up the proof or shut up, Steve. You have done nothing to even defend yourself. If my reputation were on the line, I would most certainly DO everything I could and with in my power to preserve it. You were CAUGHT red handed with your lies about an informant. Did you not have the foresight to realize that LYING about something so tantamount would harm James’s case??? WHO DOES THAT???!!! You have shown NOTHING as proof to the cash outlays you have been sent- did you think that no receipts would be required? Nothing that you say at this point has one shred of credibility. Its is SHAMEFUL at how you have behaved and continue to behave-obvously your a pathological liar and scammer.
I am completely disgusted by this man. It’s bad enough that he has taken money that others have donated, but the fact that he prayed on these young kids and befriended them is just sick. He was only in it for himself. Just horrible!!
I think what baffles me is he didn’t just collect money behind a computer, he went fact to face with these kids and a lot of them really put their trust in him. How very sad!!
Stephen Sydebotham is ALL over the internet.. If you Google his name (in quotes) you can find the different websites he’s on and alert them. This guy needs to be investigated.
He won’t get away with anything he’s done to these kids.. Mind games, giving them false hope. James dad and I are going to do whatever it takes to keep this idiot away from James. That’s a promise. We love James and nobody else is going to mess with this boys head.
I really hope he realizes the depth he has hurt James and his case. I can only hope that James realizes this and cuts all ties with himl. There are many people including James immediate family (not from Memphis) that believe in him and his innocence. I love you Cousin James!!
