The other day I admitted to Dana that one of the most devious things I’ve ever done in my whole life was to pretend that I loved to cook way back when Holly and I were dating.
The truth came out after we were married.
Anyway, she was a way better cook than I could ever be.
I always washed the dishes.

Eventually. But it worked!
I learned to cook early, as a head-strong and independent minded kid, and then taught my own kids how to be self-sufficient in the kitchen as well. Still wonder whether that was a such good idea, whenever I step into the wasteland they’ve left behind. LOL
What does it mean when I have to cook -AND- do the dishes?
