Aurora Colorado seems like a really screwed up place. But note that this happened back in June before the movie theater shooting.
What happened to the 4th amendment? Using this thinking, if you see a robber run into an apartment building, the cops can search every apartment and handcuff all the residents. It’s crazy.
…you are guilty until proven innocent !
When I see stuff like this, it scares me to death. My 15, almost 16-year-old daughter is severely mentally handicapped. If she were in the car with me, what would happen in a situation like this? She cannot comply. She does not understand. She would completely freak out. Sitting on a curb for 2 hours, she would lose her mind! I almost can’t even think about it.
What really bothers me is that they do all of this for a bank robber…..but for a man who has commited genocide the follow the proper steps….
a pazzo! That city should be put under martial law, every cop there from that nazi police chief on down should be purged and sent to Guantanamo to be tried for treason, and Colorado should be subjected to full reconstruction–military district status, loss of congressional representation, etc.–until every politician there swears a blood oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States. And, yes, the judge should throw out the charges against the suspect, as the Supreme Court has ruled is the appropriate remedy for an egregious constitutional violation. And everyone who was brutalized and terrorized should sue the city for $100 million each!
Cops are not human! They are automatons that have no respect whatsoever rfor human life and human rights. They should be treated like mad dogs running loose in the streets!
This is why I am physically losing hope in the human race!
James, don’t you think that losing faith in the whole human race is taking things a little too far? I mean, if we do that, what is the point?
I think Frank has gotten a little extreme in his comment (but what do you expect?–he’s Italian!), yet in declaring that cops are not human, he at least provides us with an out. I think it’s okay to lose faith in cops, and prosecutors, judges… the whole so-called justice system. That is sound.
But to lose faith in the whole human race is to lose faith in ourselves and our kids… and no, I cannot go there. I will not go there.
I chose the picture of kids pissing on a cop car because I do believe that our kids are our best hope for freedom in America… if we do not ruin them by sending them to school, filling them up with junk food and junk ideas and psychotropic drugs, drumming the creativity and the life and the humanity out of them.
You can’t bullshit a kid who is intact. It will be some intact kid who will lead the revolution to reclaim our humanity and our freedom. Even if we old people have sold out and screwed up, even if we allow the polar ice caps to melt, I do believe we still have it in us to protect at least a few kids who may one day redeem all humanity.
This is why I have retreated to the desert and away from all the extreme insanity to create a kind of “seed bank” which offers some hope for all of us.
If you are losing hope in the human race, I suggest you need to take a vacation and find some hope inside of you and figure out some ways that you can contribute to the “seed bank” by protecting the kids in your life.
Sorry for the lecture. Maybe I’m making too much of a mere figure of speech.
But from your many posts on this blog I have concluded that you are one of the “good guys,” an elder who still has a grip on what’s important. We are counting on you. The kids are counting on you.
Don’t succumb to despair. Keep the faith. Never give up.
Thats pretty shit, but i just cant help saying, that picture puts such a big grin on my face, id so pat them all on the back and give them a fiver for amusing me so much!
It is amusing at first, I will agree but I am in the UK and this picture just popped up on Facebook. I then left a comment of how little Respect there is in the world today and the author pulled the photo ? Leaving no chance of any debate. It seems there are more Morons on this Planet than I had first thought.

I have no control of who re-blogs content from the Wandervogel Diary on Facebook and elsewhere, but I have just checked all the photos and links on “Police State” and everything is intact on this site. If it is dialog you desire, it can happen here without the interference of morons.

Oh, I think it was just the photo that was copied but what I was really getting at was the Gross lack of respect through out the world, we cant condemn all police as bastards, they get some of the worst work and we would be in a sorry state with out them. I would be Horrified if I saw my Grand kids doing something like this. I’m 58 and I was not the perfect trouble free child/teenager but when we were told not to do bad, we complied.
What worries me is the parents of these kids……. it beggars belief.
