Please forgive me if I linger one day longer with the Cocteau Twins and these amazing cloud images. I spent the whole day yesterday putting a couple things to bed which had been pressing me, and I am now feeling a gratifying sense of peace and calm.
Plus, I did what seemed to be the most sensible thing to preserve this sense of absolute wellbeing and slept through the Presidential debate.
Nature is my ultimate refuge and reality. All else is illusion.

I must be doing something right. I just stepped outside and heard a sound near the place where I store Tony’s cat chow. When I shined the beam of my flashlight over there, I discovered that the source of the sound was a skunk. I could not have been more than three feet away from it before I beat a hasty retreat. Luckily the skunk beat a hasty retreat, too, without leaving a distinctive gift. Thank God. What a disaster that would have been!

Awww you ran away from a cute skunk? they look soo cutey :_)
Hey Dan,
A few months ago, I heard something on my front porch. When I opened the main door to peer through the glass door, I was faced with a raised tail of a skunk pressed against the glass! I immediately and and quickly and quietly as I could, shut the main door and started a prayer “Oh! Good Lord, Please, don’t let me have scared that skunk. May he get his belly full and leave peacefully.” What a mess that would have been if he had sprayed out front door! LOL So, in honor of your little episode, I’m sharing a video that I found last year for my daughter’s homeschooling lesson on hibernation and skunks.

I recently became interested in a television show that reminds me of you, Dana and her husband.
