stepping stones

Some of the most cherished times in my life have been on walks and hikes.

These ambles mark my life like stepping-stones across a river’s course.

On some walks the footing was so sure and easy you could do it blindfolded.

On others the footing was precarious and taxed your every skill.

There were moments when it seemed I’d lost my way.

The easiest walks were when best friends were my companions.

But friends move on and in the end it’s up to me alone.

I talked with Linda Dayson from the Jacksonville, FL area today. She informed me about the documentary and asked me to check out Anthony “Tony” Headley with T & C Films from France to see what I could find out. I thought you might like to contact him. I found his LinkedIn profile. Here’s the link:

Linda is wanting to organize another rally for Cristian Fernandez. She’s been to CF’s and his mother’s hearings in a supportive role. Linda runs a non-profit down there.

Just thought you’d like to get in touch with Mr. Headley. Hope this helps.

Jury selection is scheduled for June 25th for CF’s case.

    Hey Dan!

Really nice blog you’ve got here!
My name is Jimi M Anderson and I’m a recording artist from Sweden.
I was completely mesmerized by the second image in this post (the one of the stepping stones across the river).

I’m currently recording a new album which will be named Stepping Stones and I would like to know if I could have your permission to use an edition of that image as album cover art for the record?

    Thank you for your time!

    All the best,
