I want my legacy to be an easier path to freedom and self-responsibility for juvenile parricides. Their lives have been hard enough being born into dysfunctional families. But what do the states do? Subject them to another dysfunctional system that is reluctant to let them go.
As of today, the mortgage on Estrella Vista is fully paid-off. The yearly taxes on the property are manageable and among the cheapest in the nation. This is a major milestone for me and my vision.
Now my goal is to stay alive for as long as I can, to make the most improvements on the property I can so this will be the kind of place where a released parricide will want to begin building a new life.
I have just gotten off the phone with Lone Heron, who says she is coming for a two-week visit in April. Who knows what will come after that?
